Baby it's cold outside.

I hate the snow. After December, winter in general just becomes a dreadful black hole of slush.
However every Presidents' Day Weekend we go rent a cabin in Island Park or West Yellowstone.
And here, I looove the snow. And the trees and the mountains and the fact that half of West Yellowstone gets boarded up for the winter. Even the McDonalds.

Things that make winter enjoyable:
-hot chocolate
-snowmobiling
-3 pairs of gloves
-hot tubbing in 4 degree weather
-pine trees
-seeing moose and trumpeter swans in the river
-A-frame cabins
-flannel shirts
-sledding
-crashing while sledding
-polaroid pictures
-missing lunch because you don't want to go back to the cabin
-4 feet of snow
-crosscountry skiiing
-yellowstone national park
-grizzly bear movies at the IMAX
-sheepskin boots
-fireplaces
