When a refiner is purifying silver, he turns up the heat until impurities rise to the top, which can then be removed. This is done over and over again. The refiner knows his job is done only when he can see his reflection in the silver. So it is with us. When we experience trials in our life, it's simply the method of our purification. and as it is with the silver, Christ knows we're complete only when He can see Himself in us.
